Leatherette Patch - Custom laser engraved with real stitching

Increase your product offering with custom leatherette patches!  These are laser engraved with a high quality fiber laser giving you the best crisp engrave possible.  They come ready to press with a built in adhesive.  Using a 15 second press the patch adheres very strongly.  Time and pressure will give best outcome.  Press at 302 degrees up to 320 degrees.  It is recommended to use a cover sheet to prevent burning of the surface of the leatherette. 

Placement Tip:

Warm up the hat or object first and then place the leatherette, it will stick in place without needing tape) If you use thermal tape to hold in place, put a small piece on the edge as the outline of the tape may be pressed into to surface.

Design Tips:

- Closely placed objects or text tend to merge together with the laser etching.  Farther spaced objects appear more crisp.  Keep in mind the images are less than 2" tall and this squeezes things tight when when scaled down this small, especially if there is a lot of design happening.  Simple, large designs work best. 

- Vector files work best for this process.  SVG is what our laser uses and PDF are good then transparent PNG files 3rd best.  If you need to upload a full color image we can change to black and white and vectorize.  Sending files that are 1 color black and ready to laser via SVG is the best method.
